Saint Clair Family Estate has been awarded The Wine Society of Australia Perpetual Trophy for Most Successful Winery of Competition at the Sydney International Wine Competition.
The Sydney International Wine Competition is unlike any other, with wine finalists judged in wine style categories alongside food of similar palate weight. Blue-Gold Awards are finalists that fall into approximately the top ten percentile range of the total entries. The Top 100 wines are those scoring the highest points. (an outstanding achievement).

TOP 100/BLUE GOLD Saint Clair Pioneer Block 9 Big John Riesling 2018, Aromatic Wines Category
TOP 100/BLUE GOLD Saint Clair Pioneer Block 11 Cell Block Chardonnay 2018, Fuller Bodied Dry White Wines Category
BLUE GOLD Saint Clair Marlborough Premium Pinot Noir 2018, Pinot Noir Wines Category.
This wine competition attracts entries from around the globe with sixty-eight different grape varieties from twelve different countries across more than fifty different regions. Tasting took place over five days with more than 1500 wines to taste. The initial critiquing sorts out the strongest wines (top 25%) and then judged once again with the appropriate food matchings.
The Saint Clair team are thrilled about gaining the recognition within this most prestigious international wine competition. Being the most successful entrant is an outstanding achievement from the family owned Marlborough winery.
