The run of success does not end there, with the announcement of award winners from Germany’s Mundus Vini, where Pinot Noir was Saint Clair’s show stopper. Saint Clair Pioneer Block 15 Strip Block Pinot Noir 2010 was awarded gold medal status and also trophy for Best of Show Overseas Pinot Noir.
Saint Clair red winemaker Kyle Thompson, comments; “Pinot Noir is a challenging varietal but at Saint Clair a solid team approach from the vineyard, through to the winemaking and into the bottle, ensures the best possible result with wines of excellence. It is a thrill to have our winery recognised for consistency in quality and acknowledged for the effort the entire team contributes.”
The continual run of show success is a tremendous achievement for the family owned Marlborough winery, now firmly established as a leading New Zealand wine producer producing excellent wines for consumers around the globe.
