If you love sticky wines, you’re going to love Saint Clair Godfrey’s Creek Reserve Noble Riesling 2013, which has just been ranked 2nd in the Dish Top 8 Sweet Wines.
The panel of judges blind tasted 93 sweet wines, of which 21 received four stars or higher. The full results are available in the Christmas edition of Dish magazine, which goes on sale on Monday November 11.
The sweet candied lime aromas, purity of fruit and beautifully vibrant, refreshing, perfectly balanced mouthfeel made our noble riesling a hit with the judges.
“Fresh citrus lift, ginger spices, nice crunchy acidity and juicy apricot and peach flavours laced with honey,” says judge Cameron Douglas MS. “It’s clear a lot of care and attention went into creating this wine.”
The judges awarded the Saint Clair Godfrey’s Creek Reserve Noble Riesling 2013 with five stars, earning it a gold medal.
Congratulations to the entire Saint Clair viticulture and winemaking team for producing such a delightfully delicious wine!
We hope you enjoy it as much as the Dish judging panel did.
