3,100 people running and walking through 21.1kms of Marlborough scenery, topped off with 3,100 bottles of Saint Clair Marlborough Premium Sauvignon Blanc.
The annual Saint Clair Vineyard Half Marathon has rolled around again.
We have been proud sponsors of this event since it began eight years ago with a field of
400.

Saint Clair assistant white winemaker Heather Stewart
Having just finished six weeks of working the night shift during vintage, Heather hasn’t had much of an opportunity to train, but is still looking forward to the challenge.
“I am totally unprepared, but I’m hoping the excitement and atmosphere of the day will give me the adrenaline to make it to the finish line,” Heather says.
“My Mum, Aunty and Uncle have come down from Auckland to compete also, so it’s going to be fun!”
With it’s festival-esque atmosphere, centred in our stunning vineyards, the Vineyard Half is also a great opportunity for us to showcase our province to our distributors and retailers. We’re hosting a group of people from Negociants Australia and the Melbourne restaurant Squires Loft City Steakhouse who are all taking part in the event too.

Welcome from the Saint Clair Family Estate cellar door and cafe staff
We’ll also have a stall outside, where we’ll be serving our legendary homemade chicken pies for $6, sausage sizzle for $3 and vegetable or chicken wraps for $5.
With the Vineyard Half on Saturday and Mothers’ Day on Sunday, we are expecting our cellar door to be busy and highly recommend booking to secure a table.

Our famous homemade chicken pies
In celebration of the Vineyard Half and Mothers’ Day, we’ve put together some special wine packs, which make wonderful souvenirs and gifts.
Good luck to all Vineyard Half participants, and all the best for achieving your goals on Saturday, from all of us at Saint Clair Family Estate.
