Saint Clair Family Estate has shown the best of Marlborough to their recent distributor guests from the Baltic States. Saint Clair wines have been distributed throughout Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania since 2008. The Company manager and four other respected trade members had the opportunity to personally experience Saint Clair and Marlborough on their brief two day New Zealand visit.
Saint Clair Family Estate has shown the best of Marlborough to their recent distributor guests from the Baltic States. Saint Clair wines have been distributed throughout Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania since 2008. The Company manager and four other respected trade members had the opportunity to personally experience Saint Clair and Marlborough on their brief two day New Zealand visit.
On a typical sunny Marlborough day the group toured the Saint Clair winery and tasted an array of award winning Saint Clair wines. Their visit was further enhanced by vineyard visits and meeting the people behind the wines and learning their stories. A fabulous lunch of local Marlborough salmon topped off the glorious day and the group commented, “We are incredibly lucky to be here and experience this sensational place.”
Saint Clair’s Slovakian importer and a group of trade members also visited recently spending four days experiencing the Marlborough region including a visit to the mussel farms in the Marlborough Sounds. Coming from a region with no ocean, this was a highlight for the visiting group. They gained further understanding of the Saint Clair story through visiting the winery but what they will remember the most is visiting the vineyards where they tasted the wines, met the people and experienced the importance of terroir.
Saint Clair wines are sold in over 65 world markets. Managing Director Neal Ibbotson comments, “there is no better way to share the Saint Clair story to the world than to have people visit the home of Saint Clair, meet the people and share the passion.”
