Saint Clair Family Estate was a finalist for the New Zealand wine company of the year and the Saint Clair Omaka Reserve Pinot Noir 2016 was awarded the Pinot Noir of the Year Trophy.
Winestate magazine is a consumer wine buying guide aimed to those looking to purchase wine for their home cellar, their restaurant or for their wine retail outlet. After its launch in 1978 it has grown to a circulation base of 25,000 with an estimated readership over 100,000.
Kyle Thompson attended the prestigious lunch where the awards were announced. Kyle has been working for Saint Clair for more than 12 years. He is Senior Red Winemaker and an integral part of Saint Clair’s success. Kyle comments; “it was an honour to be at the announcement yesterday and receive this fabulous trophy. I’m lucky to work with some very talented people whose focus spans from vineyards, to the wine and out to the consumer”
This trophy combined with other regular trophy success further cements Saint Clair’s reputation as a leading New Zealand wine producer and reflects commitment to quality across all facets of their business.
