This excellent value bundle is three premium Saint Clair classics.

 

This bundle includes a bottle, or two, each of the:

Pioneer Block 17 Plateau Block Cabernet Merlot 2020 
Colour: 

Dense and deeply coloured ruby core and thin rim.

Aroma: 

Complex aromas of dark fruit and new leather combined with floral notes of the tobacco flower.

Palate: 

A dark and dense palate with a sweet dark fruit spectrum. Full bodied and weighty with
a luscious chocolate-like texture, spices and a long toasty finish.

Ageing:

Perfect for drinking immediately this wine will continue to develop and delight for at least five years from vintage but with careful cellaring will continue to develop and please.

Barrique Sauvignon Blanc 2020
Colour:

Pale gold.

Aroma:

Gooseberry and nashi pear characters seamlessly overlain with perfumed notes of sandalwood and gunflint.

Palate:

Luxurious, complex and textural with layers of roasted pear, nectarine and grapefruit with a hint of vanilla bean.

Ageing:

A style of Sauvignon Blanc that has good ageing potential and will evolve in complexity and character over the next five years with careful cellaring.

Pioneer Block 5 Bull Block Grüner Veltliner 2021
Colour:

Pale straw.

Aroma:

Aromatic notes of stone fruit, white pepper and spice.

Palate:

Rich and sophisticated with a fusion of stone fruit and spice. The palate is focused and well-structured with a good acid drive that delivers a lingering fresh finish.

Ageing:

Drinking beautifully now, the structure and complexity will continue to evolve in the bottle over the next four years.
