Winemaking and Viticulture:
A blend of Sauvignon Blanc and Malbec varietals sourced from selected vineyard sites capable of reaching optimum flavour intensity before the sugar levels became too high. The fruit was specially selected and machine harvested in the cool of the night in order to retain fresh fruit flavours. The grapes spent a few hours on skins to extract the soft pink colour then were carefully pressed. After settling the juice was fermented in 100 per cent stainless steel at cooler temperatures to retain fruit flavour and freshness. At the end of fermentation the wine was stabilised, filtered and carefully prepared for bottling.
Wine Analysis:
Alcohol 9.5% v/v
Residual sugar 12.0g/litre
Acidity 8.5g/litre
pH 3.54

"Aromas and flavours of strawberries and yellow plums, some floral highlights and familiar light red berry fruits lift and allure. Crisp, saline, refreshing and dry with a moderate and light satin texture. Flavours are persistent, plush, refreshing with the wine finishing off-dry with a light RS tickle. Balanced and well made with best drinking from day of purchase through end of summer 2025."
