Saint Clair Family Estate is proud to have supported another successful Saint Clair Vineyard Half Marathon this year. The 2025 event saw nearly 2,000 runners and walkers take part, showing the ongoing popularity of this much-loved Marlborough event.
After a few wet days in the lead-up, the sun came out just in time for the start. The trail was a little muddy in places, but that only added to the fun. Spirits were high, and it was great to see so many smiling faces taking on the challenge.
The finish line was buzzing with activity. Local food trucks, coffee carts, and small businesses selling everything from artisan goods to fitness gear helped create a welcoming atmosphere for runners and supporters alike. A big thank you goes to the volunteers who helped along the course, they truly made the day special for everyone involved.
To help celebrate each person’s achievement, finishers were welcomed with a bottle of Saint Clair Vicar’s Choice Sauvignon Blanc. The Saint Clair Vineyard Kitchen also had a busy afternoon, with plenty of runners and their supporters stopping in for lunch, muddy shoes and all!
The 2025 Saint Clair Vineyard Half Marathon was a fantastic day out and a real celebration for the Marlborough community. With a scenic course winding through vineyards and along the Wairau River, it had something for everyone, whether running, walking, or just soaking up the atmosphere.
A big group from the Saint Clair Family Estate team took part, including cellar crew, grape growers, winemakers, and members of the Ibbotson family. It was great to see so many of them out on the course, enjoying the day together in the vines.
Saint Clair is proud to be part of this much-loved local event and is already looking forward to doing it all again in 2026.
