Saint Clair Family Estate is proud to announce exciting results from the 2025 International Wine Challenge (IWC), with six wines receiving standout scores.
Now in its 40th year, the IWC is regarded as the word’s most rigorous, impartial, and influential wine competition. Wines are judged through a blind tasting process by a global panel of experts, making this recognition meaningful to the team at Saint Clair and their customers.
We’re thrilled to share the following results from the IWC 2025:
Saint Clair Omaka Reserve Chardonnay 2024 – 94 Points
“Fragrant and upfront lemon, pear and blossom. Youthful appeal, juicy and inviting.”
Saint Clair Omaka Reserve Chardonnay 2023 – 93 Points

Saint Clair Barrique Sauvignon Blanc 2021 – 93 Points

Saint Clair Oaked Sauvignon Blanc 2024 – 92 Points
“Hints of guava with passion fruit notes, and aromas of cut grass. Classic juicy wine, savoury with a firm citrus finish.”
Saint Clair Pioneer Block 14 Doctor's Creek Pinot Noir 2023 – 92 Points
“Plums, pastry and cranberries, cinnamon and dark chocolate. Nutty undertones and exuberant fruit with a firm backbone.”
Saint Clair Wairau Reserve Sauvignon Blanc 2024 – 91 Points
“Very delicate in style with character of green apple, sage and freshly mown grass. poised and balanced, zesty finish.”
