Saint Clair is pleased to announce the opening of Pataka, The Foodstore, which has just opened next door to the reputable Saint Clair Cellar Door & Café. The wonderful Nina Huria-Bryce has moved in opening a gourmet food store specialising in fine foods of Aotearoa. Selections can be made from a range of deli style items such as gourmet cheeses, pate, nuts, breads and oils as well as various gifts and homeware on offer.
The word Pataka comes from the Maori language meaning a storehouse, raised on poles, used for preserved food and taonga, or treasures.
Nina has always had a passion for the gourmet food business. Following six years as being a stay at home this opportunity arose to follow a dream to explore her food passion.
Pataka is a ‘hop, skip and a jump’ across the car park of the Saint Clair Cellar Door and Café. Enjoy lunch from a delectable menu of seasonal produce matched with award winning wines at the Saint Clair Cellar Door & Café and then then visit Pataka to gather the essentials for a New Zealand inspired platter to share at your leisure with a family and friends.
Saint Clair Family Estate welcomes Pataka to the family and invite you all to come and be part of our passion for the sharing of good food and good wine at Selmes Road Rapaura, Blenheim. Opening hours – 7 days 10am-4pm.
